Social contribution
Our Group places great importance on ties within each local community at each base. As a member of respective local communities, our Group works with people outside the company to contribute to the sustainable development of each local community. We contribute to local communities by utilizing the characteristics of our own business platform, such as visiting local high schools to give classes as senior members of society and providing local chemistry school programs with donations and employment support opportunities through accepting internships.
Initiatives with Parquet Group
Parquet Group is an organization that builds foundations for people with disabilities and illnesses to live richer lives, mainly in the Tama area of Tokyo. Our Group donates products that are unsuitable for sale due to minute stains or flaws that occur during the manufacturing process, as well as scraps of products to the Parquet Group. As part of employment support opportunities, we request participants to produce tote bags and other items, which are then purchased by our Group as novelty goods.
Donation
As part of our Group’s social contribution and environmental conservation activities, we donate a portion of the sales from goods produced by the Parquet Group and from the upcycling platform “REDOW” to various organizations, aiming to realize a sustainable society.
