Ultrafabrics Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") sets forth its privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as this "Policy") to handle privacy information in relation to the services to be provided on this website as follows:

Article 2. Method for Collecting Privacy Information

Upon inquiry by the users of this website, the Company may ask the personal information of the inquirer including name, address, telephone number and email address.

The Company will collect and use personal information for the purposes as set forth below:

  • (1) Purpose to use information necessary to answer inquiries from the users of this website or related contact information; and
  • (2) Other purposes incidental to the abovementioned purpose of use.

  • (1) if such provision is made in accordance with applicable laws and regulations;
  • (2) if such provision is necessary to protect a human life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the principal of such personal information;
  • (3) if such provision is especially necessary to enhance public hygiene or promote fostering healthy children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the principal of such personal information;
  • (4) if such provision is necessary to cooperate in regard to a central government organization or a local government, or a person entrusted by them performing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining consent from the principal of such personal information may interfere with the performance of the affairs; and
  • (5) if the Company announces or publishes the following matters prior to such provision:
    • Provision to third parties being included in the purposes of use;
    • Items of data to be provided to third parties;
    • Method or means to provide personal information to third parties; and
    • Cessation of provision of personal information upon request of the principal of it.

Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, a person or entity shall not be deemed as a third party, if such person or entity falls under any of the following:

  • (1) if the Company entrusts a person or entity to handle all or part of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use of such personal information;
  • (2) if personal information is provided to a person or entity in relation to a merger or other business succession;
  • (3) if personal information is shared with a specific person or entity, prior to which, the Company has notified the principal of such personal information of the fact, items of such personal information to be shared, the range of persons or entities that share such personal information, purposes of use of persons or entities that use such personal information, and name of a person or entity that is responsible for managing such personal information, or the Company has made available these matters in a readily accessible condition for the principal of such personal information.

Article 5. Disclosure of Personal Information

Upon request of the principal of personal information, the Company will disclose such personal information to the principal without delay; provided, however, that the Company may not disclose all or part of the personal information if such personal information falls under any of the following. In the event that the Company determines not to disclose the personal information, the Company will notify the principal thereof without delay. Upon disclosure of personal information, the Company will charge 1,000 yen per case.

  • (1) If the disclosure of personal information may damage life, body, property or other rights or interests of the principal or a third party;
  • (2) If the disclosure of personal information may significantly interfere with the proper execution of business of the Company; or
  • (3) If the disclosure of personal information may result in breaching the provisions of laws and regulations.

Notwithstanding the above provision, any information other than personal information such as history information and characteristic information will not be in principle disclosed.

Article 6. Modification and Deletion of Personal Information

The users of this website may request the Company to modify or delete their own personal information held by the Company in accordance with the procedures established by the Company if such personal information contains wrong data.
Upon receipt of such request from the user, the Company will modify or delete such personal information without delay if the Company deems it necessary, and will notify the user thereof.

Article 7. Suspension of the Use of Personal Information, etc.

Upon request of the principal of personal information to suspend the use of or delete (hereinafter referred to as the "Suspension of Use, etc.") their own personal information for the reason that such personal information has been used beyond the purpose of use, or that such personal information has been obtained through improper means, the Company will conduct necessary research without delay. The Company will implement Suspension of Use, etc. of such personal information according to the result of such research and will notify the principal thereof; provided, however, that if the Suspension of Use, etc. of personal information requires a significant amount of money or otherwise it is difficult to carry out the Suspension of Use, etc., and an alternative action necessary to protect the rights or interests of the principal is available to the Company, the Company will take such alternative action.

Article 8. Change of Privacy Policy

The Company may change the contents of this Policy without notice to the users of this website.
Except otherwise set forth by the Company, any change in this Policy will come into force when the changed privacy policy is posted on this website.
