Approach and policy toward biodiversity conservation

The balance of the earth is maintained by ecosystems involving a diversity of plants and animals. The biodiversity loss due to the destruction of ecosystems and the extinction of species caused by human activities is a serious social issue we are facing today, and continuous efforts are required to prevent such loss of biodiversity and conserve the diversity of plant and animal life.
 More and more customers around the world want to avoid the use of animal-derived materials from a biodiversity perspective. Through the production of animal-free leather with the same luxurious impression as genuine leather, we avoid the slaughtering of animals for use in genuine leather products, thereby protecting the ecosystems and contributing to biodiversity conservation.
 We will also share our awareness of biodiversity with our suppliers through survey questionnaires and other means in the future to ensure that the value chain as a whole does not impact biodiversity.
