January 1966 Daiichi Kasei Co., Ltd. was established in Hachioji, Tokyo to manufacture and sell synthetic leather.
August 1979 Opened Saitama Office in Gyoda, Saitama Prefecture
October 1979 Completed wet solvent (DMF) collection equipment at Saitama Office. Began recycling solvent.
September 1987 Opened new laboratory in Hachioji, Tokyo.
October 1998 Established DSC Co., Ltd., fully financed by the company, for investment business purposes.
July 1999 Head Office, Saitama Office and laboratory received ISO 9001 certification.
February 2003 Registered stock with the Japan Securities Dealers Association over-the-counter market.
December 2004 Terminated registration with the Japan Securities Dealers Association over-the-counter market and listed stock on the JASDAQ Securities Exchange.
July 2006 Relocated Head Office to Myoujin-cho, Hachioji, Tokyo.
March 2016 Opened Gunma Plant in Ora-machi, Ora-gun, Gunma Prefecture.
February 2017 Made Ultrafabrics, LLC (currently Ultrafabrics Inc.) a wholly-owned subsidiary.
May 2017 Established subsidiary Daiichi Kasei Bunkatsu Junbi Co., Ltd. (currently Daiichi Kasei Co., Ltd.), fully financed by the company.
June 2017 Changed the end of the fiscal year from March to December at an Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
September 2017 Acquired and merged with DSC Co., Ltd.
October 2017 Daichi Kasei Co., Ltd. changed trade name to Ultrafabrics Holdings Co., Ltd. Switched to a pure holding system and a company with audit and supervisory committee.
Daiichi Kasei Bunkatsu Junbi Co., Ltd. changed trade name to Daiichi Kasei Co., Ltd. Business continued via an absorption-type company split.
May 2018 Opened satellite office in Shibuya, Tokyo.
